Bas van Meerten
My name is Bas van Meerten, I was born in 1989 and live in Nijmegen. Like several of us, I went to the Sint Willibrordus primary school, where I learned a lot about the Tanzania projects of the MOV from an early age. With one of the highlights, the annual sponsor run.
In 2008 I went on the very first youth trip of the MOV to Tanzania. This was an unforgettable experience and ever since then I have always had a warm heart for the continent of Africa. I have been back to Africa a number of times. Since 2020 I have been committed to the MOV with great pleasure.
